The Chamonix Valley offers several alternatives to the car.

GETTING AROUND BY BUS 

Buses and shuttles run every day, with different frequencies depending on the line. You can get discounts on bus tickets with the Carte d'Hôtes we provide on arrival OR FREE if you have a valid ski pass/summer lift pass at the time of your bus journey.

The Le Mulet shuttle bus is also completely free, allowing you to get around the town center.

You can buy your tickets, as well as find all the information you need on public transport, traffic and more, by downloading the free Chamonix Mobilité mobile application on Google Play or the App Store. You can also buy your tickets online here. Remember to validate your ticket each time you board the bus. 

For your information, the nearest bus stops to the hotel are: 

• Le Savoy (20 m) served by line 10 Chamonix Sud -> Les Moussoux via the Planpraz/ Le Brévent gondola . This bus line will also take you to and from the Chamonix TRAIN station if you are travelling by train.
• Le Mummery (350 m) served by the free Le Mulet shuttle, as well as line 1 Le Prarion <-> Les Praz Flégère (Flégère lifts in one direction and Les Houches lifts in the other), line 10 Chamonix Sud <-> Les Moussoux via the Planpraz/ Le Brévent gondola, as well as line V2 Parking du Grépon <-> Le Tour
• Vallot (160m) served by the free Mulet shuttle, as well as line 1 Le Prarion <-> Les Praz Flégère and line V2 Parking du Grépon <-> Le Tour
• Place du Mont-Blanc (500 m) served by the free Mulet shuttle, as well as line 1 Le Prarion -> Les Praz Flégère (Flégère lifts in one direction and Les Houches lifts in the other), line 2 Glacier des Bossons <-> Le Tour, line 3 Servoz La Côte <-> Chamonix Sud, and lines 21 Randobus Le Grépon <-> Col des Montets.
   

The "Mulet" shuttle connects the city center and the Chamonix Sud bus station, which is a likely drop-off point if you arrive via a shared airport transfer service.

GETTING AROUND BY TRAIN

The train network extends from the Fayet station to Martigny in Switzerland, with several stops along the way, including Les Houches, Les Praz, Argentière, and Vallorcine.

The Chamonix train station is located 900 m from the hotel. You can easily reach the hotel on foot (a 15-minute walk) or find a taxi directly outside the station.
