2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of booking rooms and additional services (breakfast, parking, etc.) offered by Hotel La Sapinière.
3. Reservations
Reservations may be made by telephone, email, on-site, or via the official website https://chalethotelsapinierechamonix.com.
Any reservation is considered final once written confirmation (email or letter) has been provided and must be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
A deposit of 30% may be required for a standard rate booking and 100% for a non-refundable rate.
4. Pricing conditions
Prices are indicated in euros (€) or in your local currency according to the conversion rate used by the booking engine operated by MisterBooking, inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding the tourist tax.
The tourist tax, set by the municipality, must be paid in addition and amounts to €1.60 per person over the age of 18 per day.
Applicable rates are those in force on the day of the reservation.
5. Cancellation, modification, and no-show
Any cancellation of a reservation made directly with us must be notified in writing (email or letter). If you booked through a third-party platform such as booking.com, expedia.fr, hotels.com, etc., you must request cancellation through that platform.
Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the arrival date for the standard rate only.
In the event of late cancellation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the percentage of the total amount corresponding to the stay date and the cancellation request date, as defined in the conditions of the chosen rate plan.
In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the reserved stay will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rate and Non-Refundable with Breakfast included: no refund in case of cancellation.
If you booked via a third-party platform such as Booking.com, Expedia.fr, Hotels.com, the cancellation conditions may differ, and we invite you to check the applicable terms on the site you used.
6. Arrival and departure
Rooms are available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Any overstay may result in the charge of an additional night.
7. Means of payment
The hotel accepts the following payment methods: cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), holiday vouchers, and bank transfer.
8. Guest obligations
The guest agrees to respect the quiet enjoyment of the premises and comply with the hotel’s internal regulations displayed on site.
Any damage or theft attributable to the guest will result in a charge for repair or replacement costs.
The hotel is non-smoking (except in designated outdoor areas).
9. Hotel liability
In the event of theft or damage to items left in the guest room, and in accordance with Articles 1952 to 1954 of the French Civil Code, compensation is limited as follows:

Up to 100 times the price of one night for items stolen from the room.

Up to 50 times the price of one night for items that should have been deposited in the hotel safe due to their value.

For items stolen from a guest’s vehicle parked in the hotel car park, compensation is limited to 50 times the price of one night.
The hotel’s liability is unlimited for items formally deposited with a staff member at reception for placement in the hotel safe.
The hotel cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from force majeure events (such as lightning, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, etc.) or incidents arising from guest negligence.
10. Personal data (GDPR)
The personal information collected is used solely for managing reservations and customer follow-up.

11. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint must be addressed in writing to: Hotel La Sapinière, 102 rue Mummery, 74400 Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France.
In the event of an unresolved dispute, the guest may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the French courts.
